What is SciBar?

Picture
SciBar is exactly what it sounds like - Science in a Bar! Our goal is to bring science to a wider audience in a relaxing and informal environment.

These events are run at the Port Mahon Pub in the St.Clements area of Oxford (see details below) on the third Thursday of every month. The topics are varied, previously we've covered everything from detox diets to the legacy humans will leave on the Earth, so there's bound to be something that appeals to all tastes. You can see a sample list of our previous speakers on our Past Events page!

The events are free and no previous science knowledge is required - so come along and learn the science behind everyday life over a pint!

To find out about our future SciBar topics visit our Upcoming Events page.
